Welcome to the Parkhotel Oybin

A  warm welcome to our small fine hotel in the spa town of Oybin. Surrounded by the pictoresk landscape of the Zittau Mountains, Germany’s most eastern low mountain range, it is a great place to relax and spend quality time far away from the busy every day life.

Be inspired by the ruins of the Oybin castle and the monastery, the peaks of the easy to reach mountains or the curiously formed sandstone rocks.

The Hotel

The Parkhotel Oybin was built in 1907 and completely reconstructed in 1996. As the name implies it is located at the park of Oybin and surrounded by the romantic backdrop of the near mountains. The family managed hotel invites you to relax and have time for each other.

Our Rooms

The stylish rooms (ten double rooms, two single rooms and two suites) each feature telephone and TV as well as a modern bathroom with a shower and hair dryer. WiFi free of charge is available in every room, the restaurants and the hall.

Activities

The spa town of Oybin provides lots of opportunities to spend an interesting time by regaining the familiar or discovering the unexpected.

Outdoor Activities

Depending on your personal interests and favourites you can explore the picturesque landscape on relaxed walks, demanding hikes or exciting rock climbing. You are also invited to discover interesting tracks by mountain bike or – in winter – by ski.

Sights

Friends of traditional architecture will be impressed by the ancient houses in the traditional style. Beyond that there are interesting towns like Zittau or Löbau with carefully reconstructed historical buildings or the world known town of Görlitz with its famous houses from the 16^th to the 19^th centuries.

Excursions

Oybin is situated in the so called Euro Region Neiße (the river, that marks the border between Germany and Poland) and in the „triangle“ formed by Czech Republic, Poland and Germany. Take a chance to discover the highlights of the Giant Mountains which are located at the Polish-Czech border (between Silesia and Bohemia). The busy city of Liberec (former Reichenberg) in Czech Republic is worth to be visited as well as the reconstructed castles around Jelenia Gora (former Hirschberg) in Poland.

Restaurant

Start your day with our varied breakfast buffet or enjoy a delicious dinner at the restaurant in the evening. On the first floor you will find a breakfast room, an á la carte restaurant and a small bar. Our chef welcomes you to taste freshly prepared delicious seasonal dishes. The restaurant is also a good choice if you like to regale guests on private or business occasion.
